Over 40,600 people in Son La entitled to social assistance

As many as 40,606 people in Son La province are enjoying social assistance policies.

A staff member of Agribank’s Son La city branch opens free accounts for social assistance beneficiaries in Chieng Sinh ward.

Of them, 39,967 people receive social assistance at home while 464 are given care in the community and 175 at social protection facilities.

Since the beginning of the year, the province has fully and promptly provided regular and irregular allowances for social protection beneficiaries according to regulations.

In July, local authorities have settled 96 applications for preferential policies for revolution contributors and their relatives with a total amount of over 875 million VND (36,730 USD).
