Teams are wrapping banh chung.

The teams competed in wrapping and unwrapping banh chung. In the wrapping competition, the teams sent 10 members to wrap 10 square cakes. For the unwrapping part, they sent one member to unwrap a cake prepared by the organising board. During the competitions, the participants were introduced about the meaning of Vietnam’s traditional Tet, its customs and dishes.

The activity helped Lao students understand more about Vietnamese customs, country and people, and improve Vietnamese language learning and communication skills. It also strengthened the exchange between Vietnamese and Lao students.
