Son La ensures benefits for social, health, and unemployment insurance participants

In October, the provincial Social Insurance Agency paid nearly 508 billion VND (20.04 million USD) in social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance to participants.

Of the total, more than 235 billion VND in social insurance was paid to 18,870 people, 189 billion VND in pensions and social insurance benefits to over 32,000 people, and more than 84 billion VND in health insurance examination and treatment costs to 114,863 patients.

Currently, the agency is focusing on resolving problems in paying monthly pensions and social insurance benefits through personal accounts; checking and guiding the appraisal of applications for social insurance benefits in districts; and making settlements of health insurance examination and treatment costs at medical facilities, ensuring the benefits of participants.
