Students, residents in Pa Khoang hamlet get support

The Nam Lanh Border Guard Station, in collaboration with the Youth Union of Muong Va commune, production team No. 2 under Regiment 326, and the Binh An charity group, organised a programme to present gifts to students and households in Pa Khoang hamlet, Muong Va commune on September 15.

 

Students and residents affected by natural disasters receive gifts

During the event, officers and soldiers of the Nam Lanh Border Guard Station, and donors distributed gifts including cakes, candies, and milk to 40 students from Pa Khoang School and Hoa Ban Kindergarten. They also provided gifts to 40 families who suffered losses due to typhoon Yagi in the hamlet. About 40 nutritious meals were also delivered to the students at the schools. The total value of the gifts was over 30 million VND (1,222 USD).

The programme demonstrated the spirit of mutual support and compassion from the officers, soldiers, and donors, contributing to easing the difficulties faced by teachers and students in Muong Va commune.
