"Warm Spring” programme held for Sop Cop district’s residents

The Nam Lanh Border Guard Station, in collaboration with several donors, on December 28 held a "Warm Spring” programme for Sop Cop district’s residents, at the Tong Hum school facility in Muong Va commune.

The programme presented 321 gifts, including instant noodles, fish sauce and salt; 10 bicycles, and 257 warm clothes to local people and students in Tong Hum hamlet with a total value of over 350 million VND ($13,734). In addition, it also featured folk games and a zero-dong clothing booth, free haircuts, and medical examination and medicine distribution for more than 300 people in Tong Hum, Nghe Ven, Co Dua, and Huoi Pot hamlets.

The programme brought meaningful gifts to poor households and students on the occasion of the upcoming new year, promptly encouraging people as well as officers and soldiers to welcome the Lunar New Year 2025, strengthening the solidarity between the army and the people, and building a solid all-people border defence posture at the headland of the Fatherland.
