The runners competed in 70km, 42km, 21km, 10km and 5km races through many places with beautiful natural scenery, peaceful hamlets, grasslands, tea hills, and valleys covered with plum and apricot blossoms.

The tournament took place in a favourable weather condition and at a time when the spring is just around the corner, encouraging the athletes to try their best in the competition.

This is the 6th time the Vietnam Trail Marathon has been held in Moc Chau district. According to organisers, this year's tournament saw an increase in the number of runners, who also showed higher professional skills as compared with previous editions, and featured one of the most beautiful trails in Vietnam.

It was set to promote the image of Moc Chau - honoured as “Vietnam’s Leading Nature Destination 2023” and “Asia’s Leading Regional Nature Destination 2023” – to both domestic and international tourists. It was also expected to create a playground to promote sports in general and marathon in Moc Chau in particular.

At the end of the tournament, the organisers presented first, second and third prizes to the most outstanding athletes of different races.
