During the year, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism coordinated with relevant units in organising many tourism activities, attracting a large number of visitors through numerous events and activities.

Among those were the Son La Culture - Tourism Festival, themed "the World's Leading Regional Nature Destination 2023"; the first Son La Coffee Festival 2023; the Ban Flower Festival in Son La city; the Son Tra Flower Festival in Muong La district; the Culture, Sports and Tourism Week in Quynh Nhai district; and the Vietnam off-road motorbike racing tournament in Van Ho district.
