Construction on eight school, housing projects starts in Phu Yen district

The Son La provincial Department of Public Security’s Youth Committee on August 13-14 coordinated with Phu Yen district’s Youth Union to start construction on eight school and housing projects in three communes in the district.

The projects have a total value of 780 million VND (31,150 USD), of which 500 million VND is spent on building three classrooms and two dormitories for the kindergarten and the boarding primary and secondary school for ethnic minority students in Muong Bang commune; 200 million VND for building two classrooms at Tuong Tien commune's primary and secondary school; and 80 million VND for constructing a house for Phang A Chong Khua, a child in Da Do hamlet, Kim Bon commune.

Since 2021, the Son La provincial Department of Public Security’s Youth Committee has helped construct 25 schools and dormitories, one bridge, and three charity houses; and assisted more than 1,600 children under the two projects "Happiness for Children" and "Raising Children in Moc Chau" in Phu Yen district. These activities have helped students in the mountainous and extremely disadvantageous communes have better conditions to study.
