A great national unity festival was held in Coong Noi hamlet, Chieng Coi ward, Son La city, on November 12.
Participants recalled the birth of the Vietnam National United Front, the precursor of the VFF, on November 18, 1930, and compared notes on the position and role of the VFF in the present revolutionary cause, as well as the results of the campaign "All people unite to build new-style rural and civilised urban areas" in Coong Noi hamlet.
Coong Noi counts 148 households with 717 members, divided into five "self-managed" groups. In recent years, local residents have strived to fulfill socio-economic targets. Their material and spiritual life has been improved gradually. They have actively responded to the movements on new-style rural area building and “All people protect national security”. Political security, and social order and safety in the hamlet have been maintained. In 2023, over 76% of local households have won the title of "cultural family", while the hamlet has been recognised as a cultural one. There have been no poor and near-poor households in the hamlet to date. The average monthly income ranges from 2.2 million to 2.5 million VND (90.22-102.52 USD) per person.
