Provincial leaders pay tribute to King Le Thai Tong, President Ho Chi Minh, martyrs

A delegation of provincial leaders and officials on January 23 offered incense and flowers at the temples dedicated to King Le Thai Tong and President Ho Chi Minh, and paid respect to martyrs of Son La Prion at a memorial house.

The delegation included Lo Minh Hung, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Dinh Viet, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee; along with representatives of departments and agencies in Son La.

They expressed their gratitude to King Le Thai Tong for his contributions to unifying, building, and defending the nation. They pledged to carry forward the fine traditions, working to build a prosperous and civilised province and country.

At the monument of “President Ho Chi Minh and Northwestern residents”, and a temple dedicated to the late leader, they extended their deep respect and boundless gratitude for his monumental contributions to the struggle for national liberation of the Vietnamese people and humanity.

The provincial leaders vowed to uphold and develop the revolutionary traditions, while continuing to follow the revolutionary path chosen by the Party and President Ho Chi Minh, promote the studying and following of his ideology, morality, and lifestyle, and stay determined to overcome challenges and accomplish all assigned tasks, thus building a prosperous province.
