Heo Trai hamlet has 203 households, with 936 people. Locals have been always united in their efforts to effectively implement the "All people unite to build new rural and civilized urban areas" campaign; and focused on economic development. They have planted 45 hectares of coffee and 5 hectares of fruit trees, while raising cattle and poultry. As a result, local life has been gradually improved, rural areas given a facelift, and social order and safety maintained. The hamlet posts an average income per capita of 28 million VND (1,140 USD) per year and a poverty rate of 13%. Over 82% of households have been recognised as cultural families, contributing to the commune's efforts to achieve the new-style rural area status by the end of 2023.
