Following the Politburo's Decision No. 23 on promulgating regulations on the mass mobilisation work across the political system, the Standing Board of the Son La Party Committee issued Decision No. 250-QD/TU, establishing corresponding regulations for the province's political system.

Party organisations under the provincial Party Committee disseminated the regulations and adopted relevant local rules, while effectively implementing mass mobilisation work, ethnic and religious affairs, and carrying out local mandates. Policies and benefits for residents were delivered in a timely manner, helping to build broad public consensus.

Cha A Cua, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and President of the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, speaks at the meeting.

The Standing Board of the provincial Party Committee and Party committees at all levels have refined their approach to mass mobilisation by fostering closer engagement with residents and placing people at the centre of policymaking. They have also emphasised the accountability of leaders and their deputies in carrying out their assigned responsibilities.

Mass mobilisation by local authorities has also continued to evolve. The People's Council has adopted a range of policies that have won broad public support, while expanding voter engagement to hear and address legitimate public concerns. It has also strengthened oversight of the implementation of policies related to the lawful rights and interests of the public.

Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Hoang Van Nghiem delivers closing remarks.

Concluding the conference, Nghiem called on Party committees, local authorities, agencies and units at all levels to continue advising the provincial Party Committee's Standing Board on measures to strengthen the leadership, direction and implementation of mass mobilisation work across the province in the new period, in line with local conditions.

He urged authorities to prioritise the implementation of the resolutions adopted at the 14th National Party Congress, the 16th provincial Party Congress and the provincial Party Committee's thematic resolutions. He also called for modernising mass mobilisation work through digital transformation, shifting from an administrative, directive-based approach to one centred on persuasion, guidance, respect and dialogue.

The provincial leader further called for improving the effectiveness of public campaigns and patriotic emulation movements, while accelerating administrative reforms in tandem with the implementation of the two-tier local government model across the province.
