Son La takes part in 20th China-ASEAN Expo

Son La province has been honored to represent Vietnam to participate in the "City of Charm" exhibition area at the 20th China-ASEAN Expo (CAEXPO 2023) in Nanning city, China’s Guangxi province on September 16-19.

As part of a series of events commemorating the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the China-ASEAN strategic partnership, the 2023 China-ASEAN Expo is a major meeting place for ASEAN and Chinese businesses, as well as international firms.

With 200 booths showing products of 120 businesses on a total area of about 4,000sq.m, Vietnam continues to be the country with the largest booth size at the expo, after host China.

The expo takes the theme of "Work Together for a Harmonious Home and a Shared Future — Promoting High-Quality Development of the Belt and Road and Building an Epicentrum of Growth".

Participating in Vietnam's 184sq-m "City of Charm" pavilion at CAEXPO 2023, Son La province has chosen the theme "Son La - Clean Agricultural Product Center".

The province introduces its socio-economic development achievements, investment potential and strengths, a list of areas calling for investment and investment attraction policies; images and videos about local people. culture, landscapes, tourist attractions, traditional festivals and tourism products and tours.

Son La also showcases clean agricultural products, including four fresh fruits (mango, longan, dragon fruit and passion fruit) and 52 processed agricultural products (coffee, tea, tapioca starch, sugar, dried longan...); as well as unique and impressive documents, publications and promotional messages, attracting a large number of visitors.

CAEXPO 2023 is an opportunity to transmit a message that Son La is not only a beautiful land, with many scenic spots and rich cultural identity, but also has potential and strengths to develop into a clean farm produce hub of Vietnam, ready to cooperate with and become a supplier of high quality products to China, ASEAN and more broadly all countries around the world.
