Moc Chau Island draws inspiration from the majestic mountains and ancient villages dating back to the 14th century in the land of Muong Sang of the former Moc Chau capital, emphasising the bond between humans and nature, and creating wonders to complete the magnificent picture of the Northwestern region. The project has been implemented by Tour 26 Moc Chau JSC since 2019, covering an area of 37.8 hectares and with a total investment capital of nearly 1.2 trillion VND (48.9 million USD). After one year of operation, it has generated regular jobs for more than 400 local labourers.

The most attractive feature of the Moc Chau Island Tourist Site lies with the Bach Long (White Dragon) Glass Bridge, which has secured three world records recognised by reputable international organisations, including the world's longest cliff-side path by Guinness World Records, the world's longest glass-bottom bridge by the World Records Association, and the world's longest glass bridge with a length of 632 metres by the Official World Records in Europe.

The NA leader hailed the locality for its efforts in developing new, unique tourism products, and building ideal tourist destinations, thus contributing to creating tourism highlights and spurring tourism development of Sơn La province and the Northwestern region at large.

He asked the province to continue supporting the investor in expanding and diversifying tourism products, with a well-planned approach to further develop and manage the tourist site, ensuring socio-economic development in tandem with preserving traditional cultural values, protecting the eco-environment, and creating sustainable jobs for locals./.
