Attention paid to forest protection in Muong La Nature Reserve

The Management Board of Muong La Nature Reserve has directed consultants and contractors to focus on managing, protecting and caring for 30 hectares of planted forests under the green growth project, and 144 hectares of replacement forests, and conserving 195 hectares of forests planted from previous years.

It has strengthened inspection and supervision of the construction of patrol routes of a project on building patrol roads combined with eco-tourism development under the forest planting, restoration and conservation project in Luot hamlet; and carried out a plan to plant 103 hectares of replacement forests in 2024.

The management board has also handed over seedlings to hamlets in the buffer zones of the reserve, and supported investment in improving production development capacity for the communities in the three communes of Nam Pam, Ngoc Chien and Hua Trai.
