More than 100 people learn La Ha ethnic language via oral transmission

Quynh Nhai district has recently opened two La Ha ethnic language classes in the form of oral transmission for more than 100 La Ha ethnic minorities in Muong Sai and Nam Et communes.

During the 21-day course, participants are taught the language through oral transmission by elite La Ha ethnic artisans about each topic, such as communication in daily activities; communication culture in family, clan, ethnic community; the customs and traditions, traditional culture of the La Ha people, and their folk beliefs and livelihoods, thus helping participants learn the language of their ethnic group, promoting their role and responsibilities in preserving the culture of ethnic minorities and consolidating great national unity.

This is an activity within the plan to implement the subproject on supporting the preservation and promotion of unique traditional cultural values, and improving the cultural and spiritual life of ethnic minorities with special difficulties under the national target programme for socio-economic development in the mountainous and ethnic-inhabited areas.
