The courses focused on how to grow, care for and prevent pests and diseases for fruit trees, coffee, and rice, mechanisation in production, post-harvest preservation technology, poultry and livestock breeding practices, and aquaculture. They helped farmers access advanced production processes and contributed to changing production practices, reducing costs, protecting the environment, raising income of local farmers.
Since the beginning of this year, the authorities of the province, districts and Son La city have coordinated with communes and towns to organise 234 training classes and transfer scientific and technical advances to over 7,400 people.
