The event was jointly organized by the provincial Union of Science and Technology Associations, the Forest Protection and Development Fund, and the People's Committee of Van Ho district
Located in Na Loi hamlet, Suoi Bang commune, the tomb cave is a large stone structure, approximately 12 metres high, 17 metres wide, and 16 metres deep, with 30 wooden coffins inside. The carbon-C14 analysis results reveal that these coffins date back to 1,240 years ago.
It was officially recognised as a national historical relic site by the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism in 2014. However, there has been no management board to monitor cultural and tourism activities here yet.
At the seminar, participants looked into the current state of the burial cave as well as challenges to the preservation and promotion of its values in combination with tourism development. They also discussed collecting and creating stories and interpretations for the relic site in service of tourism development.
