The model draws 50 households and food production and trading establishments in Tang, Tham, Tom and Cuong Muong hamlets and the central market of Tong Lanh commune. The model operates on a voluntary basis, under the guidance and direct management of the communal Women's Union.
The participating members are responsible for raising the public awareness of ensuring food safety and hygiene in production and trading to protect the health of themselves, their families and the community.
After the launching ceremony, the model members, and officials and women of Tong Lanh commune participated in training to raise awareness and change attitude and behaviour in ensuring food safety and hygiene in food processing and trading.
