Of these, two communes, Sap Vat and Long Phieng, have met all the 19 criteria and are completing applications seeking recognition as meeting new-style rural standards; four have satisfied 15-18 criteria; four 10-14 criteria; and four 5-9 criteria.

The district is directing communes to mobilize resources to complete the criteria for building new rural areas, striving to have each commune achieve one more criterion or more in 2024.

Next year, the district aims to have five hamlets meeting the criteria for advanced and model new-style rural areas.
