Officials pay tribute to President Ho Chi Minh

Permanent members of the Party Committee, the People's Council, the People's Committee, and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Son La province , and representatives from the Ministry of National Defence and the Mekong Delta province of Bac Lieu on May 6 laid a wreath at the monument of President Ho Chi Minh and northwestern residents, and offered incense at a temple dedicated to the late leader at the Tay Bac (Northwest) Square in Son La city.

The activities were held on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory (May 7, 1954 - 2024), and 65 years since President Ho Chi Minh and a central-level delegation visited and talked with northwestern residents in Son La (May 7, 1959).

The officials expressed their respect and gratitude to President Ho Chi Minh, the great teacher of the Vietnamese revolution, the beloved leader of the nation, and the founder of the Communist Party of Vietnam, for his lifelong devotion to the nation.

They promised to maintain and carry forward revolutionary traditions, forever follow the revolutionary path chosen by the Party and President Ho Chi Minh, further study and follow his ideology, morality, and style, uphold political determination, and overcome difficulties and challenges to successfully complete all assigned tasks, making Son La more prosperous and beautiful.
