Provincial Party Committee delegation visits, presents gifts to policy beneficiaries in Son La city

A delegation from the provincial Party Committee on February 1 visited and presented gifts to a number of policy beneficiary families in Son La city on the occasion of the 94th founding anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930-2024).

The delegation included Nguyen Huu Dong, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and head of the provincial delegation of National Assembly deputies; Lo Minh Hung, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee; and Ha Trung Chien, member of the Standing Board of the provincial Party Committee, Secretary of Son La city’s Party Committee, and Chairman of the municipal People’s Council.

The delegation visited La Tan Khoi Viet, a revolutionary veteran residing in residential area No. 11, Quyet Thang ward; Ha Van Thu, a pre-August 1945 Revolution cadre residing in Giang Lac hamlet, Quyet Thang ward; and Le Duy Nghia, a war invalid in residential area No. 11, Chieng Le ward.

The provincial leaders extended regards to the revolutionists and hailed their contributions and sacrifice during the past struggle for national defence and reunification, as well as the present cause of national construction.

They expressed their hoped that they will carry forward the revolutionary tradition, set an example in observing the Party’s guidelines and the State’s policies and laws, and encourage their children to work and study harder, thus contributing to the development of the country and the locality./.
