Thai hamlet has 274 households from the four ethnic groups of Muong, Kinh, Mong and Dao. In recent years, the hamlet's front board has coordinated with mass organisations to encourage people to respond to patriotic emulation movements, promote economic development, build new-style rural areas, and follow a cultural lifestyle. The hamlet counts 12 good production and business households at the communal level, and 255 others recognised as "cultural family", of which 87 have won the title for three consecutive years, and eight recognised as "outstanding cultural family". Thai has also won the title of "cultural hamlet."

Speaking at the festival, Hung praised the results Thai hamlet has achieved and expressed his hope that all locals will continue to carry forward the great national unity and actively participate in campaigns and emulation movements launched by agencies and sectors.

The local residents were also urged to focus on crop and livestock restructuring, during which production is linked with product processing and consumption under value chains, while striving to complete the target of building new-style rural areas and model new-style rural areas, and maintain local security and order.
