The delegates and local people reviewed the 93-year history of the Vietnam National United Front – the predecessor of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) (November 18, 1930 - 2023) and the results of campaigns and emulation movements in the hamlet in 2023.
Pe hamlet has 325 households, with five ethnic groups namely Muong, Thai, Kinh, Mong, and Lao. Local residents have always upheld the spirit of solidarity and strived to effectively implement campaigns and emulation movements launched by authorities at all levels. People's lives have gradually improved, rural areas have been given a facelift, and political security and social order and safety have been maintained. In 2023, 228 households were recognised as "cultural family" and the hamlet won the cultural status.
Speaking at the festival, Dong acknowledged and praised local people’s solidarity and efforts in economic development and new-style rural area building. He asked the hamlet’s management board and front board to continue to focus on persuading officials and people to observe the Party's guidelines, and the State's policies and laws as well as local conventions. Locals were urged to promote the strength of great solidarity, actively participate in campaigns and emulation movements launched by authorities at all levels and sectors, promote socio-economic development, maintain security and order, and improve the material and spiritual life.
On this occasion, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Dong presents gifts to Pe hamlet while the provincial delegation of National Assembly deputies gifts policy beneficiaries.
The festival also featured cultural and artistic exchange activities, attracting a large number of participants, creating a joyful and exciting atmosphere and tightening community solidarity.
