Thanh Hoa boasts rich and unique humanistic tourism resources of national and international values with 1,535 relic sites and landscapes, and outstanding natural tourism resources with 102 km of coastline, over 300 cultural festivals, and rich and attractive local cuisine. With those advantages, in recent years, Thanh Hoa has always ranked among the top in the country in terms of attracting tourists. Since the beginning of this year, the province served nearly 12 million visitors, earning 23.2 trillion VND (955.2 million USD).

Thanh Hoa always identifies Northwest provinces as potential and key tourism markets; therefore, many activities to introduce its land and people have been organised in these localities. This conference is an opportunity for investors and tourism businesses of Thanh Hoa and Northwest provinces to meet to boost cooperation in building complete and high-quality tours, products and services with reasonable prices, contributing to attracting tourists from the Northwest region to Thanh Hoa and vice versa.

At the event, delegates discussed solutions to boost tourism development linkages and tourism promotion, and mechanisms to encourage cooperation between businesses; and introduced unique and attractive tourist destinations.
