Vice President visits economic and tourism models in Moc Chau district

Member of the Party Central Committee and Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan visited economic and tourism models in Moc Chau district on December 21 as part of her working trip to Son La province.

Xuan was accompanied by Nguyen Huu Dong, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and head of the provincial Delegation of the National Assembly deputies; officials of the provincial Party Committee, the Standing Board of the provincial People's Council and the provincial People's Committee; and leaders of Moc Chau district.

Vice President Xuan and her entourage visited the strawberry growing model of Phu Nhuan Farm Company and the orchid growing model of Tropical Flower Joint Stock Company in Dong Sang commune; and Moc Chau Island Tourist Area in Muong Sang commune, Moc Chau district. Leaders of Son La province and Moc Chau district briefed the delegation on the local natural conditions, socio-economic development and economic efficiency of tourism and high-tech agriculture development models.

The Vice President appreciated the locality's efforts to create agricultural products with high economic value and unique tourist attractions that contribute to improving the quality of people's lives and attracting tourists. She suggested Son La province and Moc Chau district continue to support the replication of economic development models and effective methods, diversify tourism products, and create sustainable jobs for people.
