The committee received 97 entries covering five fields from 70 schools from 11 districts and Son La city. They include 15 learning tools; six IT software products; 29 environmentally friendly products; 21 household appliances and children's toys; 26 technical solutions for climate change response, environmental protection and economic development.
Among 27 winning products and models, 14 have been selected by the Organising Board to attend the 19th National Innovation Contest for Youth and Children 2023.
According to the Organizing Committee, the entries show the creative thinking and passion for invention of teenagers and children throughout the province. The contest has encouraged schools, parents and the whole society to care for and nurture creative activities among students.
The organisers awarded five first, five second, five third, and 12 consolation prizes to the winners. Sponsors presented 19 prizes for potential contestants and one for the youngest.
At the ceremony, the Organizing Committee launched the seventh provincial Innovation Contest for Youth and Children 2024.
