Attending the course were more than 100 trainees who are youth union officials and members, and young people from districts and Son La city.

Lecturers from the provincial School of Politics, the Department of Foreign Affairs and the International Affairs Board of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (HCYU) Central Committee informed participants about Vietnam’s orientation for foreign information service in the new situation; preservation and promotion the special friendship between Vietnam and Laos; an overview of the HCYU’s youth foreign affairs; diplomatic reception and youth union work.

After the course, youth union officials and members as well as young people will apply knowledge they have obtained to local realities, especially in performing foreign affairs tasks in communes and districts bordering Laos.
