Startup skills equipped for ethnic minority students

The provincial Youth Union on November 29 organized a training course on startup skills for ethnic minority students as part of the activities implementing the National Target Programme for socio-economic development in ethnic minority inhabited and mountainous areas in 2023.

During the course, nearly 500 ethnic minority students were taught by the leaders of the center for promoting business startups and attracting investment in ethnic minority inhabited areas and Tay Bac University, focusing on three topics: design thinking for startups; application of digital transformation in startups; and training on startup business models.

In addition, students visited startup and innovation booths of youth union members and young people in the province, and had the opportunity to directly present startup ideas and receive experts’ feedback and analysis to perfect their ideas.

The course aimed to encourage the spirit of entrepreneurship, career development, and participation in economic development among young people and create a favourable environment to promote and support ethnic minority youth in their startup and innovation process. At the same time, it targeted promoting the role of youth in economic development in the province.
