Participants are officials, civil servants, public employees, and personnel from armed forces, agencies and units in the district, communes and towns, employees of businesses in the district, and people inside and outside the district. In particular, the number of runners registering for the competition is not limited.

Runners will compete in two events: men's individual and women's individual. They will run a total length of 7km, starting from the beginning of Van Bu bridge and finishing at Pom Luong peak, Tham Hon hamlet, Ta Bu commune.

The event, to be held for the first time, aims to develop the sports movement in the district, contributing to promoting the campaign "All people do physical exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho", as well as to enhancing exchanges and solidarity of ethnic groups in the district.
