Nearly 1,000 students, teachers practice firefighting, rescue skills

The Firefighting an Prevention and Rescue Police Desk under the provincial Department of Public Security on October 16 coordinated with the To Hieu ward police and the To Hieu Primary School in Son La city to organise a firefighting and prevention and rescue skills experience programme in 2024.

 

The programme offers firefighting and prevention and rescue skills experience.

Nearly 1,000 students and teachers of the school were equipped with legal knowledge and measures to ensure firefighting and prevention and safety. They were instructed on how to handle fires and explosions and escape when a fire occurs in a house or a crowded place. In addition, they also participated in answering questions related to firefighting and rescue work.

Students and teachers also practiced using portable fire extinguishers to stamp out fires caused by gas leaks and gasoline fires; using escape ladders; rescuing people; and moving to escape in a smoky environment.
